Episode 14 – House of Books Podcast

Below are links to Episode 14 of the House of Books podcast and poems by Theodore Roethke (we graduated from the same high school, many many years apart) and Robert Frost. You can also find these poets reading their own work on YouTube, but – well, they were better at writing poetry than speaking it, at least to my ears. The last link is for those of you who are interested in starting your own podcast with help of Yukimi Song.

Poem by Theodore Roethke. Note how the rhythm of the poetry mimics the sounds of a train’s wheels clicking over the tracks.
A short, famous poem by Robert Frost – I feel this every time I have to leave the Lake Michigan lakeshore or the wooded parks where I hike.
