National Poetry Month #28 – At Last, Sylvia Plath

“The Applicant,” read by the poet. While I love the reading, I can’t reconcile the angry Hamptons voice with the lost child face; based on the comments on this video (on YouTube), I seem to stand alone. She was just over 30 when she taped off her kitchen to protect her children, then placed her head far enough into her oven to ensure her death.
